After a year and a half of remote work, the Robs4Crops team finally got a chance to meet in person at the project meeting in Angers, France hosted by our pilot partners Terrena and LVVD.
In addition to meeting the faces behind the monitor, this was also a great opportunity to reflect on the progress made so far, as well as to observe our robot’s effectiveness in weeding vineyards and vegetable fields.
R4C partners were happy to test the robot in real-world settings. One of the discussions was also centered around explicit expectations and major concerns of farmers and other key stakeholders regarding agricultural robots, identification of priority areas for action and proposition of relevant policy recommendations.
Thanks to all partners for the fruitful meeting!
