Vacancy: Researcher Precision Farming

The business unit Agrosystems Research of Wageningen University & Research invites applications for the position of researcher in precision farming. This unit is working on new farm management concepts to increase the profitability of farming, increase food security and safety, and reduce the impact of agriculture on the environment. They develop and implement science-based systems to support farmers’ decision making and they help stakeholders with their development of new precision farming systems. 

These systems consist of decision rules; infrastructure to collect and process data; and equipment capable of precise application of inputs (including automated machines and robots). 

The successful applicant will work in a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, in close collaboration with stakeholders.
